Dr Allan Wang

Dr Allan Wang specialises in surgery to the shoulder, elbow and hand. He has special interests in arthroscopy and joint replacement.

After completing his orthopaedic training 1992, Dr Wang undertook further clinical and research Fellowship training in Adelaide and the USA. He was awarded PhD by the University of Adelaide in 1998. He has an ongoing commitment to clinical and laboratory research and presents scientific papers regularly at national and international meetings.

Dr Wang is involved in medical student teaching and training of orthopaedic registrars and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Western Australia. He has also served as a scientific secretary of the WA Australia Orthopaedic Association (AOA) committee and is the current Chairman of Continuing Orthopaedic Education for the AOA.
