Dr Neil Bergman
Dr Neil Bergman specialises in adult reconstruction and joint replacement, with a special interest in difficult primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty.
Dr Bergman completed his Orthopaedic Fellowship in 1987, then travelling to the UK where he undertook a Paediatric, and Spine Fellowship in Liverpool, followed by a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction in Bristol in 1988. In 1989 he completed a Special Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr Bergman is a founding Advisory Board Member at the Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria, and is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at Warringal Private Hospital.
Dr Bergman is Supervisor of a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at Austin Health and Warringal Private Hospital and is a Clinical Instructor in Orthopaedics at the University of Melbourne. He is an active member in the Arthroplasty Society of Australia and the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery.
