SOUTH AUSTRALIA ADELAIDE Dr Peter Lewis specialises in disorders of the hip, as well as primary and revision hip and knee joint replacement. Dr Lewis completed his Orthopaedic training in 1991, and then travelled to London, Ontario, Canada to undertake a Fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstructive Surgery, which he completed in 1992. Dr Lewis has a keen research interest in joint replacement and is the Chairman of the Wakefield Clinic’s Research Committee. He is also an active committee member, recently holding positions as the Deputy Chairman of the AOA Continuing Education Committee, the President of the Arthroplasty Society of Australia and is an Australian Delegate to the Asia Pacific Knee Society Committee. Currently he holds the position of Head of Arthroplasty Services at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and also is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide. Dr Lewis consults at The Wakefield Orthopaedic Clinic in Adelaide and also consults in the country areas of Gawler and Angaston in the Barossa Valley.Wakefield Orthopaedic Clinic
