Dr Ben Allen
Dr Ben Allen specialises in joint replacement of the hip and knee as well as revision surgery, and arthroscopic and reconstructive sports surgery of the knee.
Completing his Orthopaedic training in 2006, Dr Allen undertook extensive training in hip and knee surgery, completing a Fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty and Revision, Surrey, UK, 2006; Revision Hip Arthroplasty and Complex Acetabular Reconstruction, St George’s Hospital, London, 2006 and; AOA Clinical Knee Fellowship in Sports Injuries, Reconstruction and Arthroplasty, Melbourne, 2007.
Dr Allen has research interests in minimally invasive surgery, revision hip arthroplasty and sports knee injury and reconstruction outcomes. He is also a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Adelaide and Modbury Public Hospitals.
