Dr David Wood

Dr David Wood is the CEO of OGL. As an orthopaedic surgeon, he specialises in arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery and arthroplasty of the knee and hip, with a special interest in the repair of hamstring avulsion from the pelus.

Dr Wood is the past chairman of the NSW branch of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Australian Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a founding member of the Federal Prostheses and Devices Committee, and a current member of the Knee Prostheses Advisory Group and the Medical Services Advisory Committee, a federal government appointment.

Dr Wood completed his orthopaedic training in Sydney, following a one year fellowship with Dr Cross, and commenced practice in 1991.
