Dr Louise Tulloh
Dr Louise Tulloh specializes in Sports Medicine with particular interests in female and recreational athletes.
Dr Tulloh is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians, having been awarded the college medal in 1999. Following general postgraduate training including a year in paediatrics and six months in geriatric and rehabilitation medicine, she entered the ACSP registrar training program, completing most of her training at Narrabeen Sports Medicine Centre and North Sydney Sports Medicine Centre.
Dr Tulloh has provided medical support to the Balmain RLJFC (1995), Warringah Rugby Club (1996-1998) and Manly Warringah RLFC (1998-2000). She has performed medical event coverage for short and Olympic course triathlon, 18ft sailing Grand Prix, World Cup Triathlon (Sydney) and the Sydney Olympic Games.
Dr Tulloh has particular interest in medical concerns of the female athlete and lectures widely to GP’s, physiotherapists and athletes on this topic. She enjoys working with recreational athletes to maintain their desired level of athletic participation with special regard for knee cap pain and other overuse injuries of the lower limb.
She consults at North Sydney Sports Medicine Centre in Crows Nest.
