Dr Mark Perko
Dr Mark Perko specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the hand and upper limb including the shoulder and elbow.
Dr Perko finished his orthopaedic training in Sydney in 1987 and completed an Orthopaedic and Sports Injuries Fellowship with Dr Mervyn Cross and Dr Leo Pinczewski. He continued further specialist training in hand surgery and upper limb surgery in the USA and Switzerland.
Dr Perko is a past state secretary of the Australian Orthopaedic Association of New South Wales (NSW) and is a past board member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (NSW representative). He is a member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society, the NSW Hand Surgery Society and the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia.
He has worked extensively with elite sports men and women.
