Dr Graeme MacDougal
Dr Graeme MacDougal specialises in shoulder surgery, including sports injuries, degenerative disease reconstruction and arthroplasty. He has a special interest in arthroscopic surgery.
Dr MacDougal is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and Secretary of the Australian Shoulder and Elbow Society. He obtained his Orthopaedic Fellowship in 1997, undertaking shoulder subspecialty training with Prof David Sonnabend and Dr J S Hughes in Sydney in 1996.
Dr MacDougal consults at Mona Vale and Chatswood. He operates at the Mater Private Hospital at Crows Nest and North Shore Private Hospital at St Leonards.
Dr MacDougal is a consultant to the Australian Defence Forces.
He also has served on the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) NSW Branch executive for four years. He currently is the AOA representative to the NSW Branch of the College of Surgeons.
At a local community level Dr MacDougal has strong attachments to local organisations. He is a current director of Mona Vale Golf Club and has active involvement with Surf Life Saving and local Rugby Clubs.NORTHERN BEACHES
