Dr John Harrison
Dr John Harrison specialises in joint replacement and revision, trauma and sports medicine and its application to hip, knee and ankle surgery.
Dr Harrison completed his orthopaedic training 1976, and has been active in association and committee work as well as holding appointments as Honorary Orthopaedic Surgeon to numerous sporting bodies, including Manager of the Australian Men’s Water Polo team to the World League and FINA World Cup in Barcelona in 2003. He represented Australia himself in Water Polo at the Mexico Olympics in 1968.
Dr Harrison has recently stepped down from the role as Chairman of the Australian Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and President of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
