Dr Bruce Caldwell

Dr Bruce Caldwell specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and the hip including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction & total joint replacement. He has a special interest in patellofemoral surgery and revision ACL surgery.

After completing his Orthopaedic training in 1991, Dr Caldwell completed Fellowships in Knee surgery with Dr Mervyn Cross and Dr Leo Pinczewski at The North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, and Foot and Ankle Surgery in the United States.

He is involved in research into ACL reconstruction and has undertaken over 4000 such procedures. He was also the Medical Venue Manager for Weightlifting for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

He consults at Crows Nest and Toronto, Newcastle.
