Dr Maurizio Damiani
Dr Maurizio Damiani specialises in Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery, and Surgery of the Hand and Upper Limb, including joint replacement of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
Dr Damiani has completed two post-graduate fellowships. The first, with the Canberra Orthopaedic Group, involved specialist training of upper limb, and of sports injuries. Following this he completed an international fellowship in hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder surgery at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre of the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Dr Damiani is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a consultant surgeon at The Canberra and John James Hospitals.
